Connor hugged onto Evan a bit tighter, burying his face in the crook of his neck.
-
They sat there for a few minutes, quietly. “You ready, hun? Itd be better to tell someone soon, y’know, just in case.”
-
"Mm, yeah," Connor spoke softly, sitting up. He exhaled and wiped his eyes, sniffling softly.
-
“Okay, c’mon,” Evan said softly, standing and helping Connor up. He lead him out of his room and down the stairs.
(my replies might get a lil less frequent for the next few hours hours, i’m going for a walk with my family :)) -
(all good, dw!
i've got some studying to do anyways
may be taking the written drivers test this wednesday-
i'm a bit scared ^^')
Connor grabbed the letter and followed Evan out of his room, heading downstairs. He walked over to the dining room, seeing his mom at the table. "Mom?" He said quietly, his voice shaky. Hannah looked over at with a small smile that quickly turned to a frown, seeing the expression on Connor's face. "Honey, what's up?" She asked, standing up from her seat. Connor fumbled with the letter and handed it to his mom, who read it. "Was- Was this in the mail when you got it?" She asked, worry in her voice. Connor nodded, grabbing onto Evan's hand for stability. -
(you got this!! :))
Evan squeezed Connor’s hand back. “We just- we wanted to know if there was anything that we- or you- could do.” -
"Oh, I'm gonna do something about this," Hannah muttered, anger in her voice. "I'm not letting some disgusting a--hole mess with my son, not again." Connor exhaled softly, a small smile appearing on his face. "God, I- I knew I should've put a restraining order on him," she added with a sigh, setting down the letter. "Is this the only one you've gotten from him since he last stopped?" Connor nodded, leaning against Evan's side.
-
Evan let go of Connor’s hand, wrapping his arm around the brunettes waist. “Thank the Lord it is.”
-
"God, I- I'm calling my friend, maybe he can figure something out," Hannah muttered, pulling out her phone. "He's a lawyer, and does a lot of work for cases like these. Though I'm not sure if there's much you can go off, without much evidence. The only thing you have are the letters, right?" "Yeah, I uhm, I kept most of them, I think- I was t-too scared to throw them out, l-let anyone know about him..." Connor spoke, resting his head on Evan's shoulder.
-
“Are testimonies not enough?” Evan said, gently squeezing Connor’s side. “I get the whole ‘justice system’ or whatever, but I feel like the fact that this guy has been to rehab for a while and the fact that Connor has like, extreme anxiety over the mention of his name should be enough, right?”
-
"I certainly think so, but I'm not sure how it'd work in court," Hannah spoke, sending a message to her friend. She exhaled, looking over at her son. "Hun, I'm so, so sorry this is happening," she murmured, wrapping her arms around Connor. He exhaled shakily and leaned into her arms, hugging his mother back.
-
Evan stood by them, gently rubbing the small of Connor’s back. “Is there anything I could do to help with this?”
-
"No- Not much anyone can do until I get in contact with Jason. For now, I-" Hannah sighed, letting go of her son. "I'm not sure what to do, to be honest. I- I would suggest you staying home for a few days, especially if you don't feel safe going to school." "I- I really don't," Connor muttered, leaning against Evan's side.
-
Evan continued to gently rub Connor’s back. “Okay, yeah. I’ll be here as much as I can, okay?”
-
Connor nodded and hugged onto Evan, trying not to burst into tears again. He exhaled shakily, squeezing his eyes shut for a moment. "Can we go lay down?" He mumbled softly, lifting his head and looking up at his boyfriend.
