so like, we continue, nothing super big happens, then later connor gets confronted by his ex (first time, evan's there to protecc and attacc u^u), then later connor gets confronted by him again (alone this time-) and s--- happens, connor gets all emo depressed and won't say why- then later evan finds out from chloe that connor's in the hospital bc he tried to, yk, himself bc of whatever his ex said to him-
BUT THEN CUTE MOMENT- connor was slipping in and out of subconsciousness in the hospital for a while, so when evan goes to visit him, he thinks he's unconscious, man's gets all emo sad and has this moment where he's like, "god, i wish i was there for you! i should've been protecting you! and now you may be gone and i never got to say i love you-" (little does he know connor's awake, just has his eyes closed *wink wink* ;)) then silly awkward moment happens and kiss kiss fall in love-

i do want evan to be emo at some point and admit why he fell out of that tree, but we can do that after, too
or it could be a little confession moment in the hospital and evan could admit how scared he was or has been or smth 🤷♀️

let's do this, connor comes back to school and is going to meet up with chloe (not evan bc of the drama still) but before she gets there the ex shows up and evan arrives, sees connor all panicked and sees his ex, disregards all the drama and protects his man u^u)
A few days passed since the letter from Connor's ex incident and he was back in school. He couldn't afford any more absences, as much as he wanted to stay home with Evan. He exhaled as he pulled up to school, hopping off his skateboard. He picked it up and held it in his arms, hugging it to his chest as he waited for his sister. But it wasn't his sister who he saw that morning. "Good morning, Connor~" The brunette froze and looked over, seeing a tall, tan guy with dark, almost black hair. "Told you I'd be stopping by, didn't I~?" "I- I don't know wh-what you want, and I- I don't f---ing c-care," Connor spoke shakily, stepping back away from the guy. "C'mon, darling, don't be like that~" Diego spoke as he stepped closer, resting his hands on Connor's shoulders and slid them down to his hips, pulling him close. Connor froze with fear, wanting nothing more than to crawl into a hole and die. -

Evan pulled up to school, hopping out and saying goodbye to his mom. He started walking once she had driven away, heading to the school. As he was walking, he saw Connor, and… somebody getting uncomfortably close to him. f---, that must be his ex… right? He thought, speeding over and immediately grabbing this guys shoulder and shoving him away. “What are you doing? He’s obviously uncomfortable.” -
"Hey, chillax, dude-" Diego spoke harshly, glaring at Evan. His expression relaxed after a moment and he moved closer to Connor, slipping an arm around his waist. "Just trying to have a private talk with my boyfriend~ So why don't you f--- off?" Diego spoke, raising his brows with a deadpan expression on his face. Connor stood frozen, fear and panic in his eyes.

Evan shoved Diego again, farther away from Connor, gesturing for him to walk into school. “Nah, now I know for a fact you’re not. Do you even go to this school? Stay the f--- away from Connor.”

Diego glared at Evan, then at Connor before smirking. "I knew you were a pushover, Con, but damn- Letting this b---- walk all over you?" He spoke, chuckling. "I should've expected it, though," he added, sighing, "I mean, I certainly didn't expect you to grow any balls while I was away-" "S-Shut the f--- up, and- and leave. You don't even go h-here anymore, so you better l-leave before I tell a t-teacher." Diego sighed, holding his hands up in innocence. "Fine, I'll leave-" He spoke, stepping back to Connor for a moment. He brought his hand up to his face, gripping his jaw and forcing him to look at him. "But you'll come beggin', just you wait, mi amor~" He pulled his hand away, looking the brunette up and down. "Hm, thought you would've taken my advice to bulk up. Seems you're still as skinny as ever," he commented, smirking when Connor flinched. He waved as he turned, walking off. Connor slumped to the ground, still hugging his board to his chest. Kill me now...

“f--- you, a--hole!” Evan exclaimed after him before turning to Connor, crouching down next to him. “I can’t stay long, hun, but please don’t go to class- please go to Jensen’s office. Please promise me you’ll go.”

Connor nodded, his hands shaking. He leaned against Evan for a moment, trying to hard not to burst into tears. He stood up after a moment, exhaling shakily. "S-See you later, Ev," he spoke quietly, walking off.

“I’m coming straight to your house after, and so are you, okay?” Evan said softly, walking inconspicuously behind Connor before moving away.
