Evan chuckled, thinking of another topic. “Hmm- oh, wait, can I braid your hair again while we do this? I want to try to focus on two things at once, and do it on something that isn’t studying first so I don’t like… f--- up a test or something,” he said with a quiet laugh.
-
"Sure, go ahead, hun," Connor replied with a chuckle, sitting up. He turned his back towards Evan, moving his hair back. He reached over and grabbed the water bottle, taking another sip.
-
“Wait, f--- you’re so tall,” Evan said with a chuckle, pushing himself up to his knees. Once he got there, he had a good angle of Connor’s head, and was able to braid his hair without yanking his head back. “Okay, uh, favorite animal.”
-
Connor laughed softly, smiling. "Mm, maybe foxes? They're pretty cool," he spoke, humming softly.
-
“Really? I can see that for you,” Evan said, humming quietly. “Uh, what about… dogs or cats?”
-
"Mm, cats, I think," Connor replied, glancing back at Evan. "They definitely remind me of a certain somebody~"
-
Evan giggled, not seeing the glance and focusing for a moment on the braiding. “Who?” He asked stupidly.
-
"Mm, you've gotta guess~" Connor said, chuckling softly.
-
Evan furrowed his brows, thinking silently for a few seconds. He eventually looked up from his braiding to look at Connor. “Oh- wait, duh,” he chuckled, awkwardly, flushing red. “That was my bad.”
-
Connor laughed, smiling. "You're good, babe~" He said with a chuckle, leaning back against Evan for a moment so he could turn his head and press a kiss on his cheek. "What about you, which do you prefer?"
-
Evan shrugged, letting go of the braid he almost finished, undoing it gently to start another one. “Cats, I guess. I don’t think I’m much of an animal person, though.”
-
"Mm, fair enough," Connor replied, chuckling. "Surprisingly enough, I've never actually had a cat before. Or any pet, to be honest. My mom and sister are allergic to pet dandruff, I think, which kinda sucks."
-
“Huh,” Evan thought for a second before shrugging. He had started another braid, this one slightly larger. “Yeah, me neither. My mom didn’t like how messy they were.”
-
"Well, that's not a very good reason to not get a pet," Connor said, furrowing his brows.
-
Evan shrugged. “It was her reason,” he hummed quietly, thinking of another topic. “What’s your favorite car? Or, I guess, if you’re not into cars, would you take a sporty car a practical one?”
