Karl let go of his legs, resting a hand on his chest as he took one last deep breath. I'm okay, he thought, letting out a breath of relief. He looked back over to the crowd and frowned, not really wanting to go back down. He needed a few more minutes to calm down fully. He pulled out his phone, sending a quick text to Nick.
can you come up to the
bleachers for a sec, hun? -
“Yes it is!” Evan exclaimed, laughing along with his boyfriend. “That’s so funny,” Nick chuckled, seeing his phone light up with Karl’s text. He quickly stood up “I’ll be right back,” He said softly, speed walking up to the bleachers and sitting down next to Karl. “What’s up?” He asked, concerned.

“Okay,” Nick said, quickly wrapping his arms around Karl and gently rubbing his arm. “Are you okay, honey?”

imsoclueless Senior"Yeah, I just needed a minute to think," Karl replied, hugging onto Nick. "Those bad thoughts came again, but- I'm alright, I think."

“Okay, well if you want to talk about it more, just let me know,” He said softly, pressing a kiss into his head.

Karl nodded, burying his face in Nick's neck. He inhaled softly, smiling for a moment. "You smell good~" He mumbled, pressing a kiss on his boyfriend's neck. -

Karl exhaled and pressed another kiss on his boyfriend's neck, hugging him close. He closed his eyes and rested his head on Nick's shoulder, sighing. "I thought that, by now, things would be at least a little bit better," he thought aloud, grabbing onto the ravenette's shirt. "I thought I'd be doing better, but- I just, keep going back, Nick..." -

“I know, but it’s a hard thing to get over,” Nick said softly. “I’m so proud of you for even attempting to get better. But it’s gonna take a lot longer than this, okay? You’re gonna feel like this sometimes, obviously not as much, but a little bit, years from now. And I know that’s not very encouraging, but I know you can do it. You’re gonna be okay.” -

Karl exhaled shakily, squeezing his eyes shut. "I'm just so tired of this..." He murmured, burying his face in Nick's neck. "I'm so sick, of hating myself. Hating my body. I-I'm so sick and tired of- of being too scared to eat. Too s-scared of what people a-are gonna think, too- too scared to gain e-even a single pound-" He let out a shaky sob, clinging to Nick. "I'm so tired of it..." -
“I know,” Nick whispered, running a hand through Karl’s hair. “I know, honey. But you are literally so, so strong. You’re gonna make it there someday, and you will be so, so proud of yourself once you get there. And I’m so proud of you for what you’ve done so far. Okay?”

“Yeah, go for it,” Nick said softly, moving a hand to wipe away Karl’s tears.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl smiled and stood up, sitting down on Nick's lap and straddling his waist. He wrapped his arms around his neck, kissing his lips. "I love you so much~"
