imsoclueless SeniorElliot cringed, nodding. "Yeah, I do," he replied, rubbing the back of his neck. "During the Aftershock, I- I got seriously hurt and they had to do a s--- ton of procedures on my brain. My hair wasn't able to grow back in the spots that got majorly injured, so I got artificial hair."

Quinn nodded thoughtfully, running his fingers through Elliot’s hair. ‘So… you have a synthetic brain?’ he asked. ‘It’s probably best if we don’t go with platinum, then, because you’ll look like a skunk,’ he added in a teasing voice.

imsoclueless SeniorElliot rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Yeah, that'd be weird," he said, avoiding the topic about his injury. "Would blue look weird, then? With like, a stripe of black in my hair?? Maybe brown might be better."

‘Well, where is the stripe?’ Quinn asked, still playing with Elliot’s hair absentmindedly.

‘Oh, okay,’ Quinn said. ‘It feels and looks so realistic, though! Like my fake skin, I guess. But still.’ He reached for the blue. ‘I don’t think it’ll look too strange, if blue’s what you want.’

imsoclueless SeniorElliot nodded, staring at the mirror but not really at the same time. "I want blue," he replied quietly. He smiled for a moment before becoming consumed by his thoughts, a small frown appearing on his face.

Quinn smiled. ‘Alrighty,’ he said, reaching for the blue hair dye. He noticed the frown on Elliot’s face. ‘Are you sure you’re okay, Elliot?’ he asked softly, getting started on his hair.

Quinn rolled his eyes, blushing lightly. ‘How many cute guys evading the police do you think I’ve encountered?’ he asked with a nervous chuckle. ‘And I’m just asking, jeez..’

Quinn blushed harder but stayed silent, continuing on Elliot’s hair. When he finished, he stepped back. ‘Now we just wait, I guess.’

imsoclueless SeniorElliot nodded, looking at himself in the mirror for a moment. He exhaled and looked down at his lap, folding his hands together. "What if this doesn't work..?"

‘The dye or the disguise?’ Quinn asked, resting a hand on Elliot’s shoulder and rubbing it gently with his thumb. ‘It’ll work, Elliot. Trust me.’
