imsoclueless SeniorKarl sniffled, leaning into Nick's touch. "I would appreciate that, but I just- I just need to get out of my home..." He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to stop the tears. "I-I'm just- I'm scared to even breathe near them, I- I can't do it anymore..."

“I know, I know, I’m sorry,” Nick said quietly, leaning over the center console to try and wrap his arms around Karl. “But it’s okay to cry about it, too. It’s a scary thing. It’s hard to accept it.”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl let out a choked sob, leaning into Nick's arms. "It's hurts s-so much," he said through his tears, hiccuping quietly. "It hurts wh-when they say, to my face, th-they wish they n-never had me..."

“I know, I know,” Nick said in a hushed voice, rubbing Karl’s back gently. “They’re wrong, Karl. I literally don’t know what I’d do without you. My life would be so different, and so boring. They don’t deserve you, Karl.”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl gently but firmly tightened his grip on Nick, tears continuing to roll down his face. "B-But, what if-" He let out a quiet sob, squeezing his eyes shut. "What if they're right? I-I mean, they already m-make me wish I wasn't around a-anymore, so..."

“No, please don’t say that,” Nick whispered, latching onto Karl even tighter. “They’re not right. You know that, deep down, Karl. You literally have such a long life ahead of you without them. Please don’t say that.”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl exhaled shakily as he moved closer to Nick, his eyes still shut. "I-I know, but- S-Sometimes, it's kind of h-hard to remember when p-people who are supposed t-to be there for you are s-screaming at you for breathing the wrong f---ing w-way..."

“I know it’s hard, Karl, I know,” Nick said quietly. “And you don’t deserve that. You are literally one of the best people I’ve ever met, and I love every part of you.”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl exhaled and backed up a bit from Nick, a small smile on his face. "I love every part of you, too~" He said, rubbing his face and wiping away the tears. He pressed a kiss on Nick's lips, cupping his boyfriend's cheeks with his hands.

Nick gave a sympathetic smile, kissing Karl back for a moment. “I love you. You are such an amazing and kind person. And you deserve anything good that comes your way, okay? I’m really proud of you for getting elected student body president.”

“Only for you,” Nick said softly. “You ready to go to get going? We can sit here for longer if you want to.”

“Yeah, I still need to get to my house though,” Nick said, putting the car into drive and grabbing Karl’s hand before driving off. “We’re not far.”
