Ernie frowned, but nodded again. "Alright."

‘Good. I went to find Callisto.’

Ernest nodded. He knew he was somewhat on the right track, and it turns out he was. "Did you find her?"

Selene nodded, sighing. ‘She got away,’ she said, picking the leaves out of her hair. She turned away to wash the dirt off her face from the sink.

Ernest sighed. "Dammit." He mumbled, watching her for a bit. "Is there more to the story?"

‘Not much, no,’ Selene said, taking off her coat and brushing off the dirt. ‘Had a fight, I lost, she ran.’

Ernest frowned. "Damn." He yawned. "Do you mind if I try to get some sleep?"

‘I don’t mind at all,’ Selene said with a weak smile. ‘Go to bed.’

Ernest smiled back. "Alright, g'night." He said before walking back into the bedroom and snuggling back into Mahina like he had never left.

Mahina stirred again, curling up closer to him. She didn’t wake, though.

Ernie snuggled into her, slowly managing to fall asleep.

The next morning, Mahina woke up with half her body hanging off the bed.

Ernest woke up next to her shortly after. He noticed her hanging off the bed and gently moved her, not sure if she was awake or not.

Mahina snuggled into him. ‘Morning.’

Ernie grinned, holding her in his arms. "Morning. Sorry, I might've woken you up..."
