Mahina nodded, shifting her position so she wasn't just leaning against Ernest.

Ernest raised his eyebrows, remembering how she said she couldn't.

Mahina looked at Selene. 'I can't tell you what happened.'

Selene looked only mildly surprised by that. "Alright." She murmured, looking like she was thinking hard.

Mahina cuddled her knees to her chest, watching her.

"What... What do you mean by that? Like, you physically can't?"

Mahina nodded, looking down. 'When I try my voice just freezes up and I can't say anything.'

Selene listened intently, her eyes flashing with a hint of frustration but otherwise she was completely calm. "Alright..."

Mahina noticed this. 'Are you okay?'

"Yeah, I'm fine." Selene nodded. "Don't worry about it."

Mahina nodded, fiddling with her hands.

Ernie looked up at Selene, noticing the slight anger in her eyes. He gave a mildly puzzled look.
(gtg hopefully just for 30 minutes to an hour!) -
Mahina sighed.

Selene noticed Ernie staring, and just raised her eyebrow for a moment before looking back at Mahina.
