Ernie eventually stood up and walked into the room. "Mahina?" He asked, standing by the curtain. "Can I come in? I won't ask anymore questions..."

Mahina sighed. ‘Okay,’ she mumbled, pulling her hands off her face.

Ernest pulled the curtain back slightly, walking in. He sat down on the foot of her bed.

Mahina looked at him.

Ernie looked back at her, offering his hand.

Mahina took his hand, intertwining their fingers.

Ernest rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb.

Mahina smiled weakly.

Ernie gave a small smile, scooting closer to her.

Mahina let him, and leaned her head on his shoulder slightly.

Ernest let her, still not saying anything.

Mahina sighed, closing her eyes.

Ernie kissed the top of her head, holding her close.

Mahina smiled weakly, letting him.

Ernest booped her nose gently.
