After a bit, Ernie was done with his bowl. He put it in the sink. "Thank you."

‘All good,’ Mahina said.

Ernest smiled, sitting next to her again.

Mahina finished off her ice cream and put her bowl in the sink.

"So... What now? We just go to bed?"

‘I guess.’

"Unless you want to do something else..." Ernie shrugged.

‘Nah, it is getting late,’ Mahina said.

"Alright." Ernest stood up. "I can wait while you get changed into your nightclothes."

‘Thanks,’ Mahina said, walking into her room. She changed into her nightclothes.

Ernie waited, looking down at his shoes.

Mahina opened the door a few minutes later.

Ernest smiled, walking in and sitting on the bed he slept on the night before.

Mahina smiled and lay down on Selene’s bed. ‘G’night, Ernest,’ she said.
