Mahina rolled her eyes back and returned his voice to normal.

"Is my voice worki- YES THANK YOU!" Ernest laughed.

Mahina huffed. ‘You’re welcome, I guess.’

"Come on, the high pitched voice wasn't cute." Ernest rolled his eyes.

‘What if it was?’

"Then it'd be fine, but it's not cute, so it doesn't matter."

Ernest rolled his eyes back. "I'm sure your voice would be very cute though."

"I don't even have magic! How could I?"

Ernest rolled his eyes. "Weirdo." He paused. "Selene, can you make her voice an octave or two higher?"
