Mahina smiled and ate her cake. ‘So…’

“So…” Ernest thought for a bit. “Do you want to tell me what Callisto did to you?”

Mahina looked away. ‘Not really.’

Ernie cupped her cheek in his hand so she would look him in the eye. “Alright. That’s fine. I just want to know so we can decide what revenge we want.” He had a small smile.

Mahina smiled weakly. ‘Fair enough.’

Ernie kissed the top of her head. “Just as long as you’re ok.”

Mahina nodded. ‘I’m fine.’

“Alright, that’s good.”
