Chester rolled his eyes. 'No, it's a way of saying that if you had someone on the side to help with that kind of stuff, maybe those people would stop trying to take your crown.'

"Or it'd be a reason for them to claim I'm 'too distracted' and irresponsible. Especially if it was a man." Jayden sighed.

'That's... actually a good point,' Chester said.

Jayd looked at Chester apologetically. "Sorry, that was... A lot."

'No, it's fine,' Chester said, not quite knowing what he meant.

Jayd shrugged, looking back at the sunset.

Chester watched as the sun came up over the horizon.

Jayden kicked his legs as he watched the sunrise.

When the sunrise was over, Chester looked at Jayden. He quickly pulled his arm away when he realised they are still holding hands.

Jayd noticed Chester pull his hand away and he blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry." He mumbled, moving his hand away as well.

Chester blushed, though he wasn't particularly sure why. 'No, it's fine,' he said.

Jayden shook his head slightly, shoving his hand into his pocket.

Chester fiddled with the finger of his glove. 'Well, then,' he said, trying to change the subject. 'The sunrise is over. We should probably be getting back to the castle now.'

Jayd nodded. "That's a good idea." He said, swinging onto a tree branch.

Chester chuckled. 'Are you sure you're going to be able to climb down?'
