Jayden stood up and pulled Chester up before looking around for someone. He laid eyes on a fairly nice woman that used to work for the board, but quit after the laws they suggested were too... Controlling. "C'mon, lets go."

Chester nodded and stood, quickly downing his drink then following Jayden.

Jayden walked forward to the girl. "Hey Arden."

Arden turned towards the two. ‘Oh, hello, your majesty,’ she said, bowing. ‘I didn’t expect to see you here.’

Jayd smiled. "Arden, this is Chester. Chester, this is Arden. She's nice, I promise."

Chester chuckled, shaking Arden’s hand. ‘Good. A majority of people in your castle seem to be jerks.’
Arden laughed. ‘No argument there. It’s good to meet you, your majesty.’ -
Jayden laughed. "It's been a while, Arden."
She just nodded, letting go of Chester's hand. -
Chester returned his hand to Jayden’s waist, already growing disinterested in the interaction. He looked around at the party.
Arden smiled. ‘So, what’s been going on? Has anything changed since I left?’ -
Jayd leaned into Chester before shrugging. "Other than all the stuff in the paper?" He joked, not wanting to overshare and get in trouble.

Chester nestled his face into Jayden’s neck.
Arden chuckled. ‘Yeah, other than that. Reporters are strange people.’ -
Jayd wrapped an arm around Chester. "You ok?" He asked before turning to Arden. "Very strange people." He chuckled.

Chester nodded.
Arden smiled. ‘Definitely. Well, if you’ll excuse me, I should get back to my boyfriend before he starts flirting with my sister,’ she said jokingly, turning around. -
Jayden chuckled. "Bye!" He turned to Chester, kissing the top of his head.

Chester smiled, kissing his neck. ‘Hey.’

"Hi." Jayd smiled.
