The door opened. Beatrice stood in the doorway. Chester groaned and buried his face in the crook of Jayden’s neck.

(Back but idk for how long)
Jayden glared at her, holding Chester. "What do you want?" -
(Oki!)
Beatrice rolled her eyes. ‘Chester, baby, can I talk to you for a moment?’ she asked, smiling sweetly.
Chester turned his head away. ‘Don’t call me that.’ -
Jayden frowned, holding Chester close.

Beatrice sighed and stepped forward, putting a hand on Chester’s shoulder. ‘Baby, please?’

"Don't call him that." Jayd said angrily, grabbing Chester's hand.

‘Chester,’ Beatrice said firmly.

"Do you want to talk to her?" Jayden asked quietly.

Chester shook his head. ‘What she can say to me, she can say to you.’

Jayd looked up at Beatrice with an expression like: "there's your answer, take it or leave it."

Beatrice rolled her eyes, taking a step back. ‘Did you tell him what… happened?’
Chester nodded, turning his head to face her. ‘I did. And Astrid.’ -
Jayden leaned into Chester, subconsciously holding him a little tighter.

‘He just absolutely blew up at me!’ Beatrice complained, looking upset. ‘Why would you tell him that?’
‘He deserves to know. Now get out before I shove you out.’ -
"Maybe next time don't cheat on him." Jayd muttered. Beatrice looked furious at that.

Chester chuckled.
