Astrid glared before looking at Jayden. "You said you'd keep him under control."
"He's not some sort of animal, I can't just control him." Jayden shot back quietly. -
Chester pulled Jayden close, kissing the side of his head. 'It's true, Astrid. I'm only telling you the truth.'

Astrid glared at the two of them. "Whatever. Come on, we're leaving." He said to Beatrice before walking off.
"Nice catching up with you, Maeve." Beatrice said before waving at her and then Chester and following Astrid. -
Chester smirked and kissed Jayden's cheek. 'That was easy.'

Jayd nodded. "Yeah." He mumbled.

'You okay, darling?'

"Yeah." Jayden gave another small nod. The chef gave them their plates, and he grabbed his, taking a bite from his pasta.

Chester kissed the corner of his lips before starting to eat as well.

Jayd smiled, leaning into him. "I have a meeting after lunch, just so you know." He said quietly. "I'll try and make sure I don't leave you alone for too long."

'Alright,' Chester said, continuing to eat. 'It'll give me more time to read, anyway. You're a bit distracting.' -
Jayden rolled his eyes, kissing Chester's cheek. "Are you really complaining about it though?" He asked with a teasing smile. "You know you love it."

Chester blushed, rolling his eyes. ‘That’s not the point.’

"It should be." Jayden smiled. He ate more of his food.

Chester chuckled softly.
