Chester kissed his forehead and walked out.

Jayd blushed, following him before taking the lead and showing him the weapon room.

Chester smiled and followed him inside.

Jayden walked in. “Here, take what you want.”

Chester looked around, and walked to where the swords were kept. ‘Do you know which kind is Astrid’s favourite? Or which one he keeps in his room?’

“Uhm…” Jayden wracked his brain trying to remember. “I don’t know. Last time I saw him with one, it was a long sword, so…”

Chester nodded, looking around. ‘Interesting…’ he murmured, testing the size and weight of a few.

Jayd watched him, holding a few of his own favorite weapons.

Chester eventually selected one. ‘This one seems okay.’

Jayden gave a small nod. “Ok.”

Chester kissed his cheek, then sheathed the sword and attached it to his belt.

Jayd gave a small smile.

Chester smiled softly back. ‘You ok?’

“Yeah.” Jayd nodded, leaning into him.

Chester held him close. ‘It’ll be alright,’ he said softly.
