Chester held his face, making him look at him. ‘You’re worrying me, love.’

Jayd looked him in the eyes. “I can’t tell you.” He said quietly. “I literally can’t.” I’ll lose everything if I do.

‘Why not? Did I do something wrong?’ Chester murmured. ‘Do you still not trust me?’

Jayden’s heart wrenched. “You didn’t do anything wrong.” He said quietly. “And I do trust you, it’s just….”

Chester looked at him sadly. ‘It’s fine if you don’t. I-I’m just asking,’ he mumbled, moving his hands away from his face.

“No!” Jayden sighed. This was all wrong, so, so wrong. “I trust you, I promise. I just… can’t tell anyone. If the board found out…” Jayd looked at Chester apologetically.

Chester sighed. ‘I understand,’ he mumbled. ‘Should we go to lunch?’
(Imma jump off now, cya tmrw!) -
“I’m so, so sorry.” Jayden whispered, before giving a small nod.
(Alr, bye!) -
Chester shook his head, standing up. He held out a hand for Jayden.

Jayd took it, standing up as well. He felt bad about ruining the mood.

Chester walked to the door.

Jayden followed him. "I'm sorry." He mumbled.

Chester didn’t respond. His eyes were fixed to the ground.

(Back for like 3 minutes)
Jayden looked over at him. He didn't know if he should give him a hug, or some space, so he just didn't do anything. -
(Dang)
They got to the dining hall. Chester sniffed.
