Jayden followed him like a puppy, eyes widening at how many people there were. He knew he ought to get used to it at some point, but he still wasn’t.

'My kingdom!' Chester said, and the crowd went dead silent. Chester took a shaky breath, before continuing. 'Today is a special day. Today we make an ally of the East Kingdom, and prevent future wars between us from occurring.'

Jayden squeezed his hand, smiling. A couple non-reporters started cheering.

Chester smiled. 'Today we unite two kingdoms on the path to peace. We have a new ally, who will aid and abet us in a time of war.'
He wasn't sure how to continue, so he looked at Jayden if he wanted anything to add. -
Jayd didn’t have anything to say, figuring Chester summed it all up, so he just grinned and leaned into him.

Chester smiled, pulling him close. 'Any objections?' he asked, looking to the crowd.

Jayden didn’t hear anything, but he did see a bunch of flashing cameras everywhere.

Chester relaxed slightly. 'Let's begin,' he said, looking down at the document, skimming it to make sure his servant had followed his instructions.

Jayd nodded, looking at it too. He squinted to try and read it. “Damn tiny print.” He mumbled.

Chester chuckled and put on his glasses. 'You ready?'

Jayden nodded. “Yeah. Does it look good to you?”

Chester nodded. He grabbed one of the quills and signed the bottom.

Jayd grabbed one too and signed it right under Chesters signature, grinning.

Chester kissed the side of his head, smiling. The crowd that'd gathered erupted into cheers.

Jayden beamed, looking at the elated crowd and then at his boyfriend.
