Chester rolled his eyes. ‘You guys were talking about that?’ -
“I-I have no idea what she’s talking about.” Jayden said quickly.

Chester chuckled. ‘I’m intrigued. Go on.’

“Nope.” Jayd shook his head, chuckling nervously.

‘Why not?’ Chester asked, smirking as he took a bite from his pasta.

“Because.” Jayden said vaguely, smiling.

Chester smirked. ‘Fine then. Maeve, what were you guys talking about when I was gone?’

Jayd rolled his eyes. “You’re so mean.” He chuckled.

Jayd looked up at him, then at Maeve. Maeve was just staring at the two with an amused expression on her face.
