Chester pulled him closer and lay down, taking Jayden with him. ‘That’s good.’

Jayd blushed, laying next to him, “Yeah.” He grinned.

Chester kissed his cheek, tucking a curl behind his ear. ‘I love you so much, alright?’ he murmured. ‘No matter how much of a jerk I am, no matter what happens, I’ll always love you.’

Jayden blushed even harder somehow. “I know.” He mumbled. “You’re not a jerk anyways.”
(Dammit gtg! I’ll be back at some point!) -
Chester smiled, kissing his forehead. ‘I am a jerk sometimes. But whatever happens, I love you.’
(Dammit, cya!) -
“I love you too.” Jayd smiled. “But you’re not a jerk.”

Chester smiled softly. He was. He let his ex kiss him. But he kissed Jayden’s nose and murmured, ‘Thanks. Should we get some sleep now?’

Jayden gave a small nod. “Sure.”

Chester smiled and pulled him close, phoenix wings curling around the two of them. ‘Night, love.’

Jayd didn’t pull away, closing his eyes. “Night.” He murmured.

Chester nuzzled his face into his hair, and soon fell asleep.

Jayden fell asleep a few minutes after Chester, snuggled into him.

The next morning, there’s a knock on the door, and a voice hissing ‘Jayden!’ Chester didn’t wake up.

Jayd only woke up after they repeated it a few more times. “What?” He asked in a whisper, partly to keep Chester asleep and partly because his voice was doing that thing when you wake up in the morning and your voice starts cracking, and he didn’t want to embarrass himself.

‘Come out here!’ the voice hissed. Chester murmured something in his sleep, nuzzling into Jayden.
