“Uhm…. 40% of what I have.” Jayd responded after a moment.

Chester raised an eyebrow. ‘40? Are you sure?’

“Well if I send more than 50%, I could put my own village at risk…” Jayd thought for a bit longer. “Fine, 45%.”

Chester chuckled. ‘No, 40 is fine. I was surprised it was that much, actually.’

Jayden chuckled. “Oh.” He shrugged. “I dunno, anything lower makes me feel selfish.”

Chester laughed. ‘The average is 10, my darling,’ he leaned over and kissed his forehead.

Jayd blushed. “I can drop it.” He muttered, chuckling.

Chester chuckled and scribbled down Jayden’s number, as well as his own. ‘Fine, then. If my kingdom were to wage war on another, or a kingdom had waged wars on mine, would you side with us or just send supplies?’

“I mean, depends on how stupid the war is.” Jayd admit. “But I’d side with you.”

Chester chuckled. ‘That’s fair enough,’ he said, writing down Jayden’s answer and his own to the question.

Jayd scooted his chair closer to Chester, smiling.

Chester kissed the side of his head.

Jayden blushed.

Chester smiled. ‘Next question?’

Jayd nodded.
