Maeve laughed. ‘She’s so annoying!’ she agreed.

Jayd nodded so fast you'd think his head would fall off. "Seriously!"

‘You’re lucky you only had to endure her for a day,’ Maeve grumbled.

"Fair enough." Jayden shrugged. He got to his room.

Maeve nodded. ‘Cya in Norway,’ she said, then disappeared.

"Bye!" Jayd called out, but she was already gone. He grabbed another suit and closed the door before getting dressed.

Someone knocked on his door.

Jayden opened the door once he got dressed. "Hello?"

It was Neo. He was holding the daily newspaper. He bowed. ‘Your majesty.’

"Neo!" Jayd grinned. "Everything alright?"

Neo stood up straight. ‘Uh, yes, sire, everything’s fine,’ he said, a nervous edge to his voice. He shuffled from foot to foot. ‘Just wondering if you’re alright.’

Jayd raised an eyebrow, frowning slightly. "I'm fine, Neo. Are you?"

‘Ah, yes, it’s just… have you seen the paper today?’ Neo asked, growing even more nervous.

Jayden frowned more. "You've got to be kidding." He muttered, one hand rubbing his face in exasperation, the other extending his hand to see the paper.

Neo nervously handed him the paper.
Kings gone crazy?!
Yesterday, King Chester Jackson and King Jayden Celeste - only the two most powerful men for miles around - were sighted hand in hand in the east side of Jackson’s kingdom. They were interviewed by one of our journalists.
‘Yes, we are dating,’ Jackson said.
The shapeshifter king seemed confused when our journalist mentioned Celeste’s troublesome reputation. Last week, an anonymous source reported the council trying to take Celeste’s crown! Are there controversial secrets the human royal is hiding from his new lover?
Most are finding this new relationship troublesome to the two kingdoms. How will it be end?
