Jayden knocked on the door gently.

Chester covered the phone. ‘Come in,’ he called, then he returned the phone to his ear.
‘Your majesty, I just can’t do that-‘
‘Why not?’
‘W-Well-‘
‘Exactly. Now I’d like you to cancel the print of that article. Can you do that?’ -
Jayd opened the door, walking in. He heard the conversation and frowned, figuring the conversation wasn't going great.

‘No!’
‘I don’t care if it’s a good story, I can’t let it be printed!’ Chester snapped.
‘Look, I’ll only be able to delay it a couple days, but it’s all I can do-‘
‘It better be!’ Chester shouted, then hung up. He turned to Jayden. ‘Oh, hello darling.’ -
Jayd sat down. "I take it they won't remove the article?"

Chester’s face fell. ‘No. I’m sorry, darling,’ he said, grabbing his hand.
-
"It's alright, thanks for trying." Jayden squeezed his hand.

Chester smiled weakly. ‘They’ve delayed it a couple days, however,’ he said. ‘So not a total loss, I guess.’

Jayd nodded, giving a small smile. "Thank you." He repeated.

‘It’s alright,’ Chester said softly, though not with a very large smile.

"We'll figure it out, ok?" Jayd tried to sound more confident than he actually was.

Chester leaned over and kissed Jayden’s forehead. ‘We will,’ he said softly. ‘Now come on, we can’t miss lunch.’

Jayd nodded, standing up and walking towards the door.

Chester did the same. He opened the door for him.

Jayden walked out of the door, still holding Chester's hand.
