Jayden nodded. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine." He looked down at the floor.

Chester wrapped him in a big hug. ‘No you’re not, love. I’ll sort it out, OK?’

"No, don't get involved in this mess, please. I can figure this out on my own." Jayd said quietly.

‘Are you sure? I’m sure I can find the paper your situation was leaked to. I could tell them to stop printing it or find out how it got leaked.’

Jayden hesitated before shaking his head. "It's fine. Who knows, maybe if it gets leaked to the public the chairmen could chill out a bit." Jayd shrugged, squeezing Chester's hand. "Either way, don't listen to those journalists. Me dating you isn't an issue, so tell them to put a sock in it next time they ask."

Chester held him close. ‘Well, it’ll be put in the paper whether we like it or not. If I know anything, the chairmen won’t stop until you’re out of the monarchy. Just let me help, please,’ he said softly.

"And how do you plan on helping?" Jayden asked skeptically.

‘I can stop that paper being printed. Or at least, delay it. I could speak to your chairmen, perhaps even get them fired.’

Jayd gave a small smile. Even if it didn't work- and it probably wouldn't- he appreciated the offer. "Fine, you can try."

‘Thank you,’ Chester said softly. He kissed Jayden’s cheek.

Jayd blushed. "Want to still show me the kingdom, or do you think we should go back to the castle?"

‘Well, the place I’m taking you to has maximum security. Do you want to risk 5 minutes? I could get guards to escort us on the way back.’

Jayden raised an eyebrow, wondering which place other than the castle had maximum security. "Lead the way."

Chester smiled softly. ‘Of course,’ he said softly. He took Jayden’s hand and started walking again.

Jayd stayed close to Chester, smiling.
