"Journalists?" Jayd whispered. "Or something else?" He prayed it wasn't a vampire.
-
Chester saw a large flash in the corner of his eye. ‘Journalists,’ he answered, his pace moving fast.
-
Jayden groaned quietly, following Chester quickly. "Dammit."
-
Chester huffed. It wasn’t long before other journalists caught wind of them being together and about five started running towards them, shouting. The townspeople didn’t look too pleased.
-
Jayd sighed. "Think they'll leave us alone if we answer a couple questions?" He asked, knowing if the journalists in Chester's kingdom were anything like the ones in his the answer was NO.
-
‘I don’t think so,’ Chester huffed. ‘Journalists are like dogs. You give them one treat and all they want is more.’
-
(Holy s--- that's a good analogy :0)
Jayden nodded. "Any close places we can use as a getaway?" -
(I made it up on the spot 😅)
‘Not sure.’ -
(Ima find a way to use it somehow)
Jayd looked around, trying to see if there were any shops with a no camera policy, since that might slow the journalists down. -
(XD you have full permission)
The journalists still shouted at them. They stood in front of them, blocking their way, pushing to get to the front of the crowd. Clunky cameras flashed in Chester’s eyes. ‘f---,’ he mumbled. -
Jayden elbowed Chester. "Don't want them writing that down." He chuckled, trying to boost his mood. More cameras flashed in Jayd's eyes. He squeezed Chester's hand for a bit of comfort.
-
Chester chuckled lightly. ‘I suppose not,’ he said, smiling a little. He intertwined Jayden’s fingers with his and took a deep breath
-
The journalists obviously LOVED that, snapping a bajillion photos. They all asked the two of them questions at the same time, which wasn't confusing at ALL.
-
Chester wasn’t sure what to do. He didn’t leave his castle very often, and when he did he was accompanied by guards who could make the journalists go away. He looked at Jayden.
-
Jayd shrugged before turning to the journalists, plastering a huge smile, and waving. He hated it, it was fake, and the same thing he did whenever any paparazzi showed up, but it normally did the trick unless they wanted a nice long interview.
