Chester nodded. ‘Okay,’ he said, though still sounded concerned.

"You think I'm a liar, don't you?" Jayden mumbled into Chester's shirt.

‘I don’t think you’re a liar. But I think you’re trying to make it seem like you’re okay when you’re not.’

"I'm. Fine." Jayden muttered.

Chester sighed. ‘Okay,’ he said quietly.

Jayden didn't look Chester in the eye. He knew how concerned he would look.

Chester kissed the top of his head. He wondered why Jayden wasn’t able to tell him.

Jayd looked up at him eventually. "Can we do something else?" He asked quietly.

‘Of course.’

Jayden thought for a second. "Could we do a prank? Please?"

Chester raised an eyebrow, chuckling. 'Depends what the prank is.'

"Plastic wrap on the doors? Extra pepper on the food? Something along those lines?"

Chester chuckled. 'Fine, fine.'

"Yes!" Jayden cheered. "Thank you!"

Chester laughed.
