"I know." Jayden whined. "Don't remind me."

Chester laughed. ‘Do you wanna talk about it?’ He was trying to coax Jayden into telling him what happened with Astrid.

Jayden sighed, shaking his head slowly. He felt bad for hiding it from Chester, but he didn't want to bother him with his own problems.

Chester frowned slightly. He pulled his boyfriend closer. ‘You sure? It might make you feel better.’

Jayden nodded quickly. "Yeah, I'm sure." He mumbled.

‘Okay,’ Chester said, massaging his head.

Jayd looked up at him. "Sorry."

‘Don’t be sorry. I get it,’ Chester said softly. ‘We just said no more secrets from each other before you left.’

Jayden nodded, paused, and buried his face in Chester's shirt.

Chester rubbed his back. ‘I’m just worried, darling.’

"I know." Jayden mumbled.

Chester kissed the top of his head. ‘I just want to make sure you’re okay.’

"I am." Jayd said quickly.

Chester looked down at him with a worried expression. ‘Are you sure?’

"Of course."
