Chester gave a slight smile. ‘Yeah. With Jayden.’
‘Celeste is here?’
Chester nodded. -
Cleverly seemed surprised, but just gave a small nod to show he understood.

Chester gave a small smile and nodded again. ‘Er, anything else?’

Cleverly shrugged. "No. You have a meeting tomorrow, though."

Chester sighed. ‘Alright.’

Cleverly nodded before leaving.

Chester watched him walk away. He’d been wanting to take Jayden into town the next day, so he hoped the meeting wouldn’t be too long.

Jayden eventually walked out. He still looked a bit dirty, but not nearly as much as before. "Ugh, I'll never be clean again."

Chester laughed. ‘It’s okay, we can take a bath later.’

"Okay." Jayden laughed.

Chester smiled and ruffled Jayden’s hair, then walked into the bathroom.

Jayden waited outside for him, whistling.

Chester eventually came back out. He’d cleaned his hands and face. ‘Let’s go change.’

"Okay." He walked to Chester's room.
