"No, I'm not making you go through that again." Jayden shook his head quickly. "It's just me getting into my own head, we'll figure it out." He sighed, He knew he upset Chester, even if he refused to admit it. He sighed.

Chester gave a small, weak smile. ‘Yeah, we’ll figure it out. Promise. Do you want to go back inside or wait a bit? Or I can go in first and leave you alone for a bit,’ he said softly, trying to give him options. ‘Would you feel better if I left sooner? I can go tomorrow or even this afternoon if it would make you feel safer.’

Jayden shook his head quickly. "No, don't leave." He said quickly. He wasn't scared of Chester himself, he was scared of himself being used and controlled so easily, and feeling so helpless, which was only amplified when he was literally being controlled. He sighed. "Can we wait a bit?"

Chester nodded, resting his hand behind Jayden’s head. ‘Of course, hun. Whatever you want,’ he said softly, kissing his cheek. ‘I’ve got you. I love you, so much, okay?’

"I love you too." Jayden murmured, leaning into his touch. "I just... It's been a long day, and it's hardly even started yet."

‘I know, love. We don’t have to do anything for the rest of the day, okay? We can cuddle and flirt and stay in bed for the rest of day, how does that sound?’ Chester suggested, kissing his nose.

Jayd beamed. "Yes please." He nodded. He paused for a bit, part of his brain hung up over Chester saying "whatever you want". He wasn't even 100% sure why he was upset over it if he was being honest. "Chester?" He mumbled.

‘Yeah?’ Chester said softly, glad he’d managed to somewhat cheer Jayden up. He held his boyfriend close, like Jayden would be mad at him if he let go.

"What... what do you want?" Jayd asked softly. "You've worked so hard to make sure I feel safe and happy, and I feel like I've done hardly anything."

Chester froze. He raked his fingers through Jayden’s hair, pausing before replying. ‘I… want you. And for you to be safe and happy,’ he said, giving a small smile.

Jayden gave a weak smile back. "You have me." He mumbled, snuggling into him. "Do you want to go back in now?"

Chester held him close, exhaled softly. ‘I don’t mind. I imagine you’re hungry, though,’ he said softly. He didn’t ever want to let go of him.

Jayd didn't move. "How are you not hungry?" He mumbled.

Chester shrugged. ‘I’m just not,’ he said, running his thumb down Jayden’s cheek.

"I don't believe you, love." Jayd eventually pulled away, regretting it almost immediately. "C'mon, lets eat."
