Theo opened the door once he was ready, waiting by the stairs for Hazel.

Hazel walked out of the bathroom, wearing shorts over her swimclothes and pulling on a shirt. 'We'll be leaving in about 20 minutes,' she said to Theo.

"Alright." Theo said, grabbing his regular shirt and putting it on.

Hazel stood next to him, leaning against the wall.

"What should we do to pass the time?" Theo asked.

'Not sure.'

"Hazel!" Her stepmom called out. "I still need to talk to you!"

Hazel huffed in irritation. She walked back to her bedroom before her stepmother saw her.

"What is with you?" Theo asked, following Hazel.

'I don't know what to mean.'

"You're refusing to talk to your stepmom. Why?"

'No I'm not,' Hazel said, sitting on her bed.

Theo raised an eyebrow. "Then talk to her." He suggested.

Hazel looked away. 'There's nothing to talk about.'
