Her dad narrowed his eyes. “You’re the example for your siblings.” He said, sounding like it was a conversation they’d had before.

Hazel waved it off dismissively. ‘I don’t think they care.’

“Yup!” Jackie smiled. “We don’t!”
Hazels dad just sighed. -
Hazel chuckled. ‘Lilla’s actually started swearing too.’
Lilla grinned. ‘I have! I know three!’ -
“Because you’re the example.” Her das muttered. “Lilla, you’re not allowed to swear.”
Lilla huffed, crossing her arms. -
‘Whyyyy?’ Lilla whined. Hazel chuckled.

“Because they’re bad words.”

‘Bad words, shmad words.’
‘I agree with Lilla.’ -
Her dad raised an eyebrow. “You’re not the parent.”

‘Thank god for that,’ Hazel agreed. ‘Then I’d have to be responsible instead of the cool big sister.’
Jackie scoffed. ‘You’re a geek, Hazel.’
‘Shut up, Jackie. You’re ruining my chances with Theo.’ -
Theo wasn’t expecting that, laughing. Hazels dad just narrowed his eyes at the two of them.
“It didn’t change your chances much.” Theo smiled, wrapping an arm around her. -
‘She’s into video games and manga.’
Hazel blushed. ‘I-I am not!’ -
Theo chuckled. “Oh no, I’m afraid that’s a dealbreaker.” He joked.

‘She’s also super into Hamilton and Harry Potter. Also Demon Slayer. I think she had a crush on Zenitsu…’
