Theo ate more of the steak since it actually tasted really good.

Hazel shuffled closer to him.

Theo noticed, chuckling quietly.

Hazel smiled shyly.

Theo smiled back, eating his steak. Hazels dad watched the two of them, eyes narrowing.

Hazel continued eating as well, glancing at her dad.

Theo followed her gaze to him. He gave a small smile at her dad. “The steak’s good.”

Hazel’s dad smiled. ‘Thanks.’

“Your welcome.” Theo smiled wider.

Ally threw mashed potato as Hazel. It splattered on her face. Hazel huffed.

Jackie pulled Ally’s plate away from her. “No!”

Hazel wiped the potato off her face with her hand. ‘That’s disgusting.’

Theo grabbed her some paper towels.

‘Thanks.’ Hazel took the paper towel and wiped off the potato. ‘Bloody hell, Ally.’ Ally giggled.

“No swearing.” Her das muttered. Theo chuckled.
