Theo nodded. "Yeah. He... He must've seen us at some point last night, when we were both sleeping on my mattress."

Hazel blushed. 'He what?! What did he say?!'

"Just asked if your bed was broken. And mocked me a bit when I said it was late, but it was a pretty weak excuse."

Hazel chucked her brush on her bed and stormed out of her room without an explanation.

Theo grimaced, following shortly after.

Hazel walked downstairs. 'Did you sneak into my room last night?!' she shouted at her dad.

Her dad sighed. "Keep it quiet, it's too early to wake the house up with your yelling. Yes, I looked in there."

'Why on Earth would you do that?! It's my room, did you not see the sign on the door?!'

"I'm your dad, I have every right to check!"

Hazel grabbed a pillow off a chair and grew it on the wall just for sometime my to throw, then stormed back upstairs.
