Hazel had let go already, but Alexi forgot to mention it. Hazel's father exhaled sharply through his nose. 'It's dinnertime.' He left and slammed the door. Hazel winced.
-
(Dammit Alexiiiiiii xD)
Theo looked up from his shoelaces. "I'm guessing that means we're in trouble." He mumbled, although the more he thought about it the more he wondered what the punishment would be. I mean, they lived in the same house, so grounding both of them would seem.... Odd. -
(Shhh xD)
'Yeah...' Hazel mumbled. 'He doesn't tell when he's extremely mad, he just slams doors and yells the next day.' -
Theo grimaced. "Tomorrows going to be greaaat." He muttered.
-
'Yeah...' Hazel sighed. 'I'm sorry. This is my fault.' She leaned her head on his shoulder.
-
Theo raised his eyebrows. "Your fault? In what world?"
-
Hazel looked up at him. 'What do you mean?'
-
"I mean, it's not your fault, so don't blame yourself."
-
Hazel sighed. 'I should've been more careful.'
-
Theo shook his head. "I wasn't being careful either. None of us could've expected he was going to walk in. It's nobody's fault."
-
Hazel sighed. 'You're very good at comforting,' she muttered.
-
Theo smiled. "That's me, Theo: boyfriend, French tutor and now therapist." He joked softly.
-
Hazel chuckled quietly. 'Yes. It's a good resume.'
-
Theo chuckled. "Indeed. Now, I don't want to change the subject, but do you want to go down for dinner before your dad gets even more upset?" He asked gently. "Or maybe I could sneak you a plate again?"
-
'No, I'm going down this time,' Hazel said, standing up. 'I'm not chickening out.'
