Theo rolled his eyes, cupping Hazel's chin in his hand and kissing her on the lips, closing his eyes.

Hazel kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck, closing her eyes as well. So nobody noticed when Hazel's dad opened the door. -
(We gather here today to pay our respects to Theo, now deceased since Hazel's dad saw them kiss)
Hazel's dad's eyes widened. He gave one of those loud coughs you only give to let people know you're in the room. Theo's eyes flew open, and he backed away from Hazel.
"T-this isn't w-what it looks like." He stammered like an idiot considering it was EXACTLY was it looked like. -
Hazel's eyes widened. She sat up and turned around, noticing her dad. 'Oh... Oh God,' she mumbled.
'Then what is it?' Hazel's dad demanded. He usually wouldn't snap at a guest, so Hazel knew she was in trouble. -
Theo's eyes widened in panic as he tried to come up with a reasonable excuse. "Uhhhhhhh.... Practice?" He said weakly before grimacing. "That's a bad excuse, uhm...." He trailed off.

Hazel elbowed him in the ribs. 'It's exactly what it looks like,' she mumbled, looking down at her shoes. She glanced up at her dad. 'Are we in trouble?'

Theo looked down at his shoelaces like they were the most important thing in the world. He realized he was still holding on to Hazel's hand and let go quickly.
