'We go home?' Hazel suggested with a laugh. 'Unless you'd rather stay here.'

"Oh hell no, lets get going." Theo laughed.

Hazel chuckled. She grabbed Theo's hand and slung her bag over her shoulder. Cohen was waiting for them outside.

Cohen looked at the two holding hands and smirked.

Hazel noticed the look on his face and quickly let go of Theo's hand.

Cohen's smirk quickly faded, and he looked down at his shoes. Theo wasn't sure what made him more embarrassed and flustered, when Hazel held his hand or when she let go so fast at times.

Hazel looked down, blushing. 'We should get going,' she said, which only made the situation more awkward, and started walking in a fast pace.

Cohen gave a small nod. "You guys can go back to holding hands. I'll look away." He said quietly.

Hazel shook her head. She fiddled with her backpack strap, avoiding his gaze.

Theo shoved his hands in his pockets, face red with embarrassment.

After a bit they got out of the school grounds.

Cohen kept walking with him, he lived a couple houses away from them. "So..." He mumbled, looking mad at himself.

Hazel tapped her index fingertips together. 'So...'

"We're not going to mention what just barely happened, huh?" Theo asked.

'I don't think so,' Hazel said, still watching the ground as if fascinated by it.
