'Was there some kind of joke I missed?' Hazel asked, not in a rude tone, noticing his expression. -
"No." Theo said, still grinning. "I just like talking to you."

'Oh,' Hazel said, not sure how to react to that.

'So, um,' Hazel said, turning away to fiddle with her backpack.

"So.... What do you do for fun around here?"

'Stuff. Sport, video games... Y'know, kid stuff.'

"What video games?" Theo asked curiously.

'Fortnite is the most popular one around here. I have a bunch of anime and Mario games on my Nintendo, though.'

"Oooo, nice!" Theo said with a grin. "Fortnite's very popular in France too."
