'She's just hangry,' Hazel said to Theo.

Lilla huffed. "You're the hangry one." She grumbled.
"What's this about someone being mean to Lilla?" Jackie asked as he went down the stairs. -
'Nunya,' Hazel said.

Jackie saw Theo and Hazel holding hands and he raised his eyebrows. "Lilla, go play with Barbies or something."

'What about dinner?' Lilla argued.

Jackie thought about that. "Fine, but don't be annoying."

Lilla sat down at the table grumpily.

"Don't be annoying." She murmured, imitating Jackie.

Hazel chuckled.

Jackie sat down next to Hazel. "So...."

'Hm?' Hazel hummed, looking at Jackie.

Jackie shrugged. "Just wondering when dad's gonna actually get food ready."

'Right,' Hazel said.

After a bit, more of the kids showed up, as well as Hazel-Lee's stepmom.

When Hazel's stepmum entered the dining room Hazel pulled her hands away from Theo's.
