Hazel thanked her dad and grabbed her and Theo’s cutlery from the centre of the table.

Hazel smiled and started to eat.

Hazel eavesdropped on a conversation about Play School.

Theo listened in on a talk about how birds were robots.

Hazel heard someone scream that and raised her eyebrows, holding back a laugh.

It was Tyron yelling about how birds go on powerlines to charge. Theo tried hard not to burst into laughter.
