"You provoked me! It was self-defense!"

Hazel huffed. ‘Still hit me!’

"Whatever." Cohen rolled his eyes.

Hazel chuckled, resting her chin in her palms. ‘Sorry. Anyway.’

Cohen looked at the clock. "The bell's about to ring."

‘Dammit,’ Hazel huffed.

"Sorry." Cohen chuckled. "It's not like I can control time."

‘Whyyyyy?’

"I just can't!"

Cohen rolled his eyes, throwing his school tray in the trash before slinging his backpack over his shoulder.

Hazel did the same, standing up and looking at Theo.
