"Then why don't you guys move?" Jonah said before grimacing at how rude it sounded.

"my mom can't drive." Valako said. There were other reasons but those were a bit too personal

"Oh, ok." Jonah said quietly. "Good to know."

"yeah." Valako said. She walked out of the house

Jonah followed her outside.

Valako walked quietly

Jonah leaned against one of the bigger trees, picking at the leaves.

Valako looked at the trees and decided to climb

Jonah watched her climb the trees, smiling and moving out of the way.

Valako climbed all the way up to the first solid limb of the tree.

Jonah sat down, watching her climb the tree.

Valako sat up on the tree and waved down to jonah

Jonah waved back, grinning.
