Callum sighed. 'You look fine. Nobody's gonna notice.'

“If you say so.” They responded, taking a bite out of their sandwich.

Callum took out his sandwich and took a bite from it. 'So...'

“So…… how was class?”

'It was OK. What about you?'

“Boring. A couple people laughed at James’s dorky drawing on his face though, so that’s a plus.”

Callum smiled. 'Serves him right.'

Eli nodded, chuckling. “Yeah. He looked so goofy when he was mad about it.”

'I wish I got to see,' Callum said, laughing.

Eli nodded. “I wish you were there too.”

'Well, what else happened?'

“Not much, just a boring lesson and the teacher cramming facts into everyone’s head.”

Callum laughed. 'That's fair.'

Eli nodded. “Yeah…” they said, trailing off.

'So...' Callum said, figuring it was a good conversation starter.
