"Sorry." Eli said, moving their hand away to Ralph ears.

Callum noticed the scratch. 'What happened?'

"Umbreon scratched him." Eli said quietly. "Like a demon cat."

Callum sighed. 'Dang.' He stroked Ralph's head. 'Now do you believe me he's a devil?'

"Yes." Eli said. "The worst."

Callum rubbed behind Ralph's ear.

Ralph purred, smiling.

Callum lay back down.

Eli smiled, leaning against the bed.

'So...' Callum said.

"So... Did you guys get the fence done?"
