Eli looked at Umbreon. "For once I'm ASKING you to be a demon cat and you're not?!"

Umbreon made an irritated meowing sound and swatted his paw at Eli.

"Ack, no, don't be a demon to ME!" Eli said, swatting Umbreon's paw away.

Callum laughed. 'You can have one or the other, Eli,' he chuckled.

"Why can't he just be mean to youuuuu?" Eli laughed.

'Cos he's a demon. I thought we already established that.'

"I know, but you'd think he'd be a demon to YOU. Didn't we also establish that he hates you?"

'Maybe he hates you too.'

"But I'm his owner! He shouldn't hate me!"

'There aren't any rules.'

Eli thought about that. "But he still shouldn't.... Right Umbreon?"

Umbreon made a small muffled meowing sound at the sound of his name.

"A-HAH, he agrees!"

Callum rolled his eyes.

(Oh no, bye!)
Umbreon meowed again, biting Eli's sleeve. "Hey, no biting!" Eli protested, yanking their arm away.
