"What's wrong?!" Eli asked, trying hard not to open their eyes. They tried to grab the rope in case they had to pull it twice and have them be pulled up.

Callum tried to slow down his breathing but it only ended up quickening, and he gave one last yell before the fell hard onto the ground.

"Callum!" Eli yelled, feeling him fall on their feet. They pulled the rope frantically.

Callum was sprawled on the grass. He opened his eyes and laughed. 'Eli, you can open your eyes,' he said softly.

"You scared me!" Eli said, kicking Callum gently. "Never do that ever again."

'Never free us from a blob of gloop?' Callum asked, chuckling. 'Noted.'

"You know what I meant!" Eli yelled, feeling the tug of the rope. "Oh um.. I may have pulled the rope twice."

'It's fine,' Callum chuckled. He sat up and rolled his shoulder. 'That was tiring.'

"Clearly, you collapsed and everything!" Eli laughed. "Why'd you make me close my eyes?"

'There's often a bright light before something like that is destroyed. I didn't want to hurt your eyes.'

"You were worried about my eyes hurting while you were screaming in pain over beating that thing?" Eli said with a chuckle. "Weirdo."

'I thought being weird was point of this place,' Callum said, chuckling.

Eli tried to think of an argument but came up empty handed. "Yeah, you gotta point."
The rope was becoming too hard to ignore as it practically dragged the two of them out. -
Callum tugged on the rope, trying to stop it pulling on him. 'Mum and dad probably don't realise we're back home.'

Eli nodded. "Yeah." They agreed. "Might as well go back to tell them we got here and come back, right?"
