"yes." Veradun said, looking at the other men and women. "Commend the experiment."
-
Lachlan shut his eyes tight. A few buttons were pressed before Veradun, him and the other scientist stepped into the machine. There was a buzz and click, but, as his eyes were closed, Lachlan couldn't see anything happen.
-
And with a loud crack, the machine began it's task. Around the workshop, blue and yellow sparks were flying in all directions, and then it was- silent.
-
There was a prolonged silence before Lachlan opened one eye out of curiosity. When he saw he was no longer in the lab, his eyes widened as he looked around him.
-
They were surrounded by the mystical air of... What was it? It was still unclear. There were shapes just barely describable... They were intriguing, yet horrifying..
-
Lachlan glanced behind him at Veradun, his face a mix of terror and curiosity. 'W-where are we?' he asked.
-
Veradun did not reply. He was still gathering his surroundings. He reached out and pushed through the e swirling, dark masses of shapes.
-
'Veradun?' Lachlan said, growing more unsure and uncomfortable. He glanced around at the darkness around them, the swirling shapes and dark masses.
-
Veradun looked at Lachlan.

Lachlan narrowed his eyes at Veradun and turned away, mesmerised by the shapes around him.
-
-
“What would happen if we walked into one!” Veradun asked, his voice filled with lustful wonder.
-
'I'd rather not find out,' Lachlan said, his voice quivering with fear as he took a step backwards.
-
Veradun whirled around to face Lachlan.
Veradun walked through the shape, into the abyss beyond.
