Nikolai looked at the floor, incredibly embarrassed. “I-that’s none of your business.”

'It kind of is,' Chase pryed.

“Well for starters I don’t act like a creep.” Nik shot. “And I dunno, it just… happened I guess.”

'Hm,' Chase muttered, then looked away.

“What, you taking notes?”

'No.'

Nikolai raised his eyebrows. “Than what’s with the question? Sounds like someone wants to know the art of flirting.”

'I was just wondering what you have that I don't.'

“Well the answer is nothing but not being a creep.”

'So I could win her over?' Chase asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

Nikolai scoffed. “I doubt it. That is if you can even find her.”

'Hmph,' Chase grunted, leaning back in his seat.

Nikolai didn’t say anything else until the bus stopped and everyone got off.

Chase walked off the bus, glancing behind him at Nik then back in front of him.

Nikolai grabbed his textbook and walked over to science class, preparing to be bored out of his mind.
