Nikolai nodded. “Yeah, it’s been nice.”

'So... What else?'

“Well I have to study for a new test, so… that was fun.” He said sarcastically.

Leo laughed. 'Must have been a LOT of fun.'

“Oh yes, just….. SO FUN.”

Leo chuckled. 'How's Natsuki?'

“She seemed fine when I talked to her.” Nikolai said. “I mean, she had a little thing about having to tell people she’s mute, but other than that she seemed good.”

'Ah,' Leo said, nodding. 'Yeah, that makes sense.'

Nikolai nodded. “Yeah. I tried to tell her that people would still like her if she couldn’t talk.”

'Yeah. She was pretty self-conscious when she came here, too.'

“She was?” Nikolai confirmed. “I mean, who would even care?”

'Yeah, she was. I guess she just doesn't like being made fun of,' Leo shrugged.

“That’s horrible. Honestly, some people are jerks for no reason.”
