Kieran narrowed his eyes at her. She hadn't used her might to fight him off of her when he'd first attacked her, which was strange. But he wasn't one to mess with the power of an angel. He lowered his knife. "What brings you to Earth?" he asked.

Eivet kept her eyes narrowed. “Thank you for moving the knife,” she said, “To answer your question, I have an… assignment. No one will get hurt if they don’t interfere.” She took one more look at the demon and, her curiosity getting the best of her, she asked, “Who are you, anyway?”
